The slang O.P.P means Own’s People Property. It is used to mention stealing or taking property belonging to someone else. This informal slang is most commonly used in romantic contexts like cheating on your partner when already in a relationship. 

In simple words, we can say that “engage with someone else also whether already wife, husband, boyfriend, or girlfriend of any other person.”

Origin of O.P.P:

The term got widespread recognition in 1991 when a hip-hop group named Naughty by Nature released the song O.P.P. 

In the song, the word O.P.P. describes the concept of cheating on your partner in a relationship. The song becomes popular due to its whimsical and cheerful lyrics.
